Money transfers are a convenient way to send and receive money. Using the services of MoneyGram, a money transfer company, you can get money at thousands of locations across the country, including through VCom kiosks.

Where to Go

VCom kiosks are located in 7-Eleven stores at over 2,000 locations across the United States. These kiosks are similar to ATMs, but offer additional services, such as receiving money transfers. You can use the MoneyGram website or a participating credit union's website to find the VCom kiosk nearest to you.

What You Need

To pick up your money, take at least one form of government-issued identification, like a driver's license or passport, to the nearest VCom kiosk. Select the MoneyGram option on the screen and follow the instructions, entering your name, contact information and identification information. You then use the Vcom kiosk phone to speak with a MoneyGram agent and confirm your identity. The agent gives you a transaction reference number that you enter on the screen to receive your money. Some overseas Vcom locations require you to fill out the Receiver Form at the kiosk, print out a voucher, show the store clerk your ID and the voucher, and get your money from the clerk. MoneyGram has a $899.99 limit per transfer and $3,000 limit every 30 days.
