You can return items to Nordstrom without a receipt, but the retail giant will still want some proof of purchase. You've got 90 days to return your items in the original condition with tags still attached. Bring the merchandise to any Nordstrom location for a refund or exchange.
Credit or Debit Card
Go to the customer service counter or the department where you bought the item. If you paid with a credit or debit card, Nordstrom can scan the tag and the card and find it in its system. The store can refund the card or offer a store credit. You can also exchange the item.
If you used cash, the system obviously wouldn't be of any assistance. Nordstrom's policy doesn't specifically address cash purchases returned without a receipt, so that decision is up to the store manager's discretion. The refund could be a store credit or a gift card.
