You can withdraw cash from the post office.

Cash is accessible from the United States post office and is much like getting cash from a grocery store after you have made a purchase with a debit card. Making a withdrawal for cash requires using your debit card and having enough money in your back account to make a withdrawal. Making a cash withdrawal from a post office just takes a few simple steps.

Step 1

Make a purchase at the post office. The purchase can include stamps, envelopes or packaging.

Step 2

Pay for the purchase with a debit card. Swipe your debit card through the payment debit or credit card machine located typically at the post office clerk's desk or window. Enter in your pin number and choose the amount that you would like to receive as cash back.

Step 3

Obtain the money from the post office clerk at the window.
