Weekly planners are something many of us can't live without. People from CEOs to busy moms need the convenience of planning ahead of time by jotting down appointments, meetings, little league games and family events. Being able to quickly create your own weekly planner offers many benefits. If you use Microsoft Office 2007, you can easily pull up a template and enter a week's worth of information. You can save it or print it out for even more convenience. Stop spending money on costly planners at the store, and start creating your own.
Click the shortcut icon on your desktop, or click the Start menu and look for "Accessories." Find Microsoft Office, then Microsoft Word. Double-click "Microsoft Word" to open a new document.
Click the Microsoft icon in the upper left corner of the screen, and watch for the dropdown menu to appear.
Click "New" in the dropdown menu. A box will pop open that contains templates for you to choose from.
Scroll down the left side of the page until you find "Planners." Click "Planners" to bring up a number of different types of planner templates. Click them to see previews of them up close, and click "Close" when you are done.
Choose the planner template you want, and click "Download." This will download the document and open it on your screen.
Add text and other information directly on the planner template. Save it to your computer, or print it out for personal use.
Save a blank version of the template, and then come back weekly to quickly pull it up and to fill in new information.
