One of the three major credit bureaus, TransUnion offers monthly memberships that include credit monitoring, scores and reports. If you no longer need the services of TransUnion, you can cancel at any time by calling or writing.

Call Customer Service

To cancel, call the TransUnion customer service team at 1-800-493-2392. The customer service line is open every day, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you signed up for a seven-day free trial, you can cancel at any time during that period to avoid TransUnion charging the credit card on file. If you cancel after the trial period, TransUnion will no longer charge your credit card, but will not offer a refund if you've already paid for that month. After you cancel, you lose access to your online TransUnion account including any credit data, analyses and reports.

Send a Letter

You can also request that TransUnion cancel your monthly membership by sending a letter to the address found on the website. Follow up with TransUnion by calling customer service to be sure TransUnion received your request.
