Roaches are real pests. They can also carry a vast amount of germs throughout the home. Almost everyone would like to get rid of them. The problem is, how do you get rid of roaches? This question can sometimes be perplexing. The answer could be to call an exterminator. Another option would be to buy pesticides from your local store and try to get rid of them yourself. Unfortunately, all of these methods can cost you a lot of money. This article will show you an inexpensive and effective way to get rid of roaches in your home.
The first step in this process is to collect 1 and 2 liter bottle caps from soda bottles. Collect approximately 10.
In a medium-sized bowl, combine one parts flour to one part sugar.
Add 2 teaspoons or enough flour and sugar mixture to fill the cap.
Place the caps filled with the sugar and flour mixture in cabinets and in other areas around the home where roaches are seen.
If bottle caps are not available, use a similar size container such as baby food jar tops, milk carton caps, bottled water caps etc. Place filled caps near the edges and corners of floors, and cabinets where roaches have been spotted. Also behind appliances if needed. Replace and refill as needed. The frequency of replacement will depend on the severity of the infestation. Amount of caps needed will depend on the level of infestation.
