So many of us wish we were morning people — yet we find ourselves snoozing, rushing, scrambling to work because we woke up far later than expected. Well here's the ultimate reason to wake up earlier; it could make you happier.

According to a study done by the University of Toronto, "People who wake up early in the morning are generally happier and have higher satisfaction overall with their lives."
The study also indicated that people who wake up earlier, aren't just happier in the morning — they're happier all day! This could be to the lesser effects of social jet lag, but it probably also has something to do with the fact that they don't spend their first waking moments scrambling to get ready and make up for any moments spent snoozing.
Of course, if you're definitely NOT a morning person, the study also said that by 60 years old, most people consider themselves morning people. You still have time.
