It's recently been advised to NOT have holiday traditions. I don't know. It seems to me that making traditions that fit with your life would be the better way to go. It's true that one part of holiday traditions is about the pressure to live up to expectations. The other part, the part that just might be worth keeping, is about having something to look forward to each year, something that is a consistent part of your life from year to year.
