How to Gargle with Vinegar to Stop a Sore Throat

If you have a sore throat for whatever reason, try gargling with vinegar and you may find relief. However, if your sore throat does not go away or is seriously sore, you need to see a doctor.

Gargling with vinegar is a low-cost, effective alternative.

Pour about ¼ cup of white vinegar or apple cider vinegar in a glass. Add an equal amount of water and stir.

Take a mouthful and gargle. Try to get the mixture as far back in your throat as possible. Repeat a few times.

Dilute the remaining mixture and drink a bit to help your throat even further.

Pour the mixture into a spray bottle and use as a sore throat spray, if you desire. This is a good money-saving alternative to the brand-name throat sprays.
