You can gather up the change you have hiding in your couch and cash it in without fees. There are several options available for getting the most out of the pennies you've been saving.

Step 1

Even though Coinstar machines charge for straight cash conversions, you aren't charged for cashing in your change on gift cards. Common cards include Amazon.com, Starbucks, iTunes, certain grocery stores, JCPenney and overstock.com.

Step 2

Certain banks and credit Unions with coin counting machines will cash your change without fees. Some banks without machines may charge small fees for sorting coins by hand.

Step 3

Roll your change in coin wrappers and take the change to the bank. You can deposit the rolled up coins into your bank account.
