In the United States, Tricare is administered by three regional contractors. The North Region is managed by HealthNet Federal Services, the South Region by Humana Military Healthcare Services, Inc. and the West Region by TriWest Healthcare Alliance. When you move from one region to another, your health care services and support change. You can easily transfer your coverage when you move to different area and there is no limit on how often you can change regions.

Update your Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) information with your new address. You can do this by visiting an ID card office at any military installation or by calling 800-538-9552, faxing the information to 831-655-8317 or mailing the changes and supporting documentation to:
Defense Manpower Data Center Support Office Attn: COA 400 Gigling Road Seaside, CA 93955-6771
If you have Tricare Standard, your coverage will not change when you move to a new region. You only need to complete step 1.
Transfer Tricare Prime enrollment to a new region by going to the Tricare office at any military treatment facility and filling out a Tricare Prime Enrollment and PCM Change Form. This form can be downloaded from the Tricare website and filled out ahead of time, but it must be submitted in person at the Tricare office in the new region. You will need to provide the social security number and date of birth of any dependents on the form.
Cancel your enrollment in the region you moved from by calling 877-874-2273 for the North Region, 800-444-5445 for the South Region or 888-874-9378 for the West Region. Enter the sponsor's social security number when prompted and follow the instructions to select "speak to a customer service representative." Let them know that you have moved and are enrolled in a new region.
