It is not necessary to spend a lot of money and time on expensive colon cleanse kits. Instead listen to the professionals and clean your colon the way the doctors suggest when you need to get a colonoscopy. Nothing cleanses your colon better and it is very inexpensive.
BUY FLEET PHOSPHO SODA or A GENERIC PHOSPHO SODA - Bottles of Fleet Phospho Soda cost approximately $1.50 each at the drug store and you will need two 1 1/2 ounce bottles to clean your colon the way suggested by doctors before a colonscopy. Do not use more than is recommended on the bottle. Follow the directions on the bottle. I am not a doctor, but this is what was recommended to me. Do not use this method if you have serious kidney disease.
STAY NEAR THE RESTROOM - For the rest of the day and evening, until the next morning, you will need to stay near the restroom. It is not a good day to leave your home for any reason.
DO NOT CONSUME SOLID FOODS - To properly clean out your colon, do not eat any solid foods until after your colon is completely cleaned out. When your bowel movement looks like clear urine then you are completely cleaned out.
CONSUME ONLY CLEAR LIQUIDS - You can eat clear liquids such as broth, fruit juice without pulp, soft drinks, gatorade, koolaid, coffee or tea, jello, and popsicles. Because you are not actually going to have a colonoscopy, you do not need to follow other colonoscopy instructions. Your colon will be completely cleaned out by the evening if you start the cleanse in the morning. It is not necessary for you to spend a lot of money on a colon cleanse.
